As well as recycling facilities for glass, cans, paper and old clothes the recycling area’s receptacle for old batteries is in the form of the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz.

He sits at the end of the ‘Yellow Brick Road’ and you will meet The Scarecrow, Dorothy and the Cowardly Lion as well as Toto on your way to deposit your old spent batteries.

As well as clothes, bottles, cans, newspapers & batteries you can also recycle other items you no longer need using the Free Trade Ireland website. This site was set up by the Department of the Environment and allow users to post up items that are in good condition that they no longer need but that others might want.
